Occasionally I come up with something worthwhile
This is really hard to fathom

According to this article, Bush's administration ruled that people could be fired from a workplace based on being homosexual. Which also means that a gay manager can fire as many heterosexuals as he or she wants because they're not gay.I've decided that if I ever manage people, I will fire them if they're republicans.

The Bush administration is following a law, the Civil Service Reform Act of, that was created in 1978 under a *democrat's*(Jimmy Carter's) administration. It's completely unfair to fault the Bush administration for ruling by the law. I'll admit, there's enough reason to hate republicans but this "Misleading" article shouldn't be one of them.
The law didn't say "you can discriminate at the workplaced based on sexual orientation". The law attempts to protect civil employees from being discriminated against by anything that doesn't pertain to their job performance. The law happens to not mention homosexuality, so that means that it's all right, right?
true, the law didn't say that. But if you're going to blame the current president and his administration for what that law implies, then you can blame every presidency back to 1978. If the bush administration created the law rather than just following it, I could see the articles point(s).
The law doesn't IMPLY that you should be able to fire a homosexual employee because of their sexual "conduct", but the current administration's INTERPRETATION of said law is the problem. No administration since the law was created has interpreted it this way, so blame does indeed rest on Bush's shoulders.
