Occasionally I come up with something worthwhile

I don't know which is worse: having Jesse "the Body" Ventura as your governor or having the Terminator/Conan/Kindergarden Cop as your governor. I can't believe so many people would vote for Arnold Schwarzenegger; I'm totally baffled. He had pretty much nothing to say during his debates and frankly he just seems especially dumb now that I've heard him talk more and more lately. Maybe if Arnold had some sort of good plan for taking the 8 (and soon to be 12) billion dollar deficit down I would accept him getting elected, but he had nothing! Saturday Night Live this past Saturday did a really funny skit (it was the opener skit) about Arnold doing one of his "elect me" speeches. If you didn't watch it, you really missed out.In other news, I saw School of Rock last night. I expected a low-quality, stupid-humor movie, but instead got a surprisingly good and funny movie. It was written by Mike White (The Good Girl, Chuck & Buck), so I guess it definitely had potential, but I didn't know that until the opening credits when I saw his name. Other than that, the movie follows your typical plot: good guy has something bad happen to him, good guy finds a way to make it better by doing something not-so-good, good guy gets caught, good guy gets forgiven. Despite the obvious plot the movie was surprisingly good and definitely gets both of my thumbs up.
Somehow Natasha talked me into going to a swing dance thing tonight. I can't dance, I never could. But this thing is every Wednesday for $5 and you are just in a huge crowd of people and watch the instructors and mimic what they do. I'm definitely not very excited about it, but I'm sure I'll enjoy it once I get there. Plus, it'll make Natasha happy, so that in itself is good enough (mmhmm).
