ADD

So I took this test online a while back about ADD. It was a bunch of questions with Strongly Agree through Strongly Disagree type of answers. There were 100 questions, then a second 100 question test to detail more about the results. I took the test with Natasha and conferred with her on some things I didn't know (certain behaviors I wasn't aware I did until it was pointed out to me). The first test said I was very likely ADD. The second test broke down types of ADD and I got the very basic style of ADD where I basically just don't pay attention (or can't pay attention). It said that this type of ADD rarely goes diagnosed because it's not severe enough to adversely affect performance in life or work. To get a control subject I had Natasha take the test (she is so not ADD). She pretty much answered Strongly Disagree to most of the questions and it gave her a "You are most likely not ADD."

So anyway I'm convinced that I have ADD. Lately I've been noticing myself saying things "Oh, this is the Family Guy where Peter grabs the lady's boobs!" and Natasha looks at me and says "I just said that!", but I had no recollection of listening to her say it. I was messing around on the computer at the time, so I told Natasha that she had to make me look at her for me to pay attention. She then reenacted the scene with me and apparently I looked directly at her, responded, then went back to the computer. I seriously have no recollection of it.

When I was a kid my mom used to claim to tell me to do certain chores. When later that night she'd ask why I hadn't done the chores, I would claim that she never told me. Well, now I'm questioning whether I just ADD'ed her requests. Well, if that's the case, sorry Mom!
